The Sloan WES-150 (Part 1001500) is a single order of one universal waterfree urinal cartridge (WES-155 and WES-160 are multi-pack product numbers of this same universal cartridge, not a different cartridge size or design). The universal cartridge is the most important component of Sloan’s revolutionary, waterless urinal system, providing safe, hygienic, low-odor performance in restrooms while saving a great deal of water and reducing sewer costs. Acting as a high-tech funnel and filter, the Sloan universal cartridge uses the Falcon Waterfree Technology and several unique design patents to efficiently direct the flow of urine through a floating layer of proprietary, 100% biodegradable sealant liquid that creates a barrier between the drain pipe and open-air, virtually eliminating unpleasant odors. An integrated diverter-shield minimizes splash-back, keeps debris out of the cartridge, and together with an internal baffle, helps retain sealant liquid. The baffle slows the flow of waste, allowing some of the uric sediments to settle into a trap. The remaining liquid waste is immediately redirected and accelerated as it flows freely down the drain, helping keep the cartridge housing and drain pipes cleaner. Easy to install, this Sloan WES-150 waterfree urinal cartridge is designed to last for 7000 or more uses, and an indicator lets you know when it needs to be replaced.
