Typically, the harder the water, the more scale and sediment that can build up. In homes with hard water, Honeywell recommends a Reverse Osmosis Filtration System – which can remove dissolved minerals before they enter the TrueSTEAM. Adding an RO system in homes with hard water will extend the time between when the TrueSTEAM needs cleaning – resulting in increased homeowner satisfaction and reduced callbacks.
