The Lew Electric OB-1-SP is an outdoor rated floor box with an IP66 waterproof rating inside the pop up is a GFCI waterproof UL listed 2 power 20A tamper resistant outlet. The box has an IP66 water rating when in the closed position this means that it provides complete protection against dust and water projected from powerful jets 12.5mm nozzle against the enclosure from any direction with no harmful effects. The cover is a gorgeous stainless steel not only does it look nice but is was built to withstand the rigors of being outdoors. The stainless steel cover is a marine grade SAE 316 stainless steel marine grade stainless steel has a greater resistance to pitting corrosion resistance and heat resistant. The Lew Electric OB-1-SP is an elegant looking floor box that provides pop up power for wet outdoor and indoor applications with just a push of a button. To use simply press the button and lift up the lid plug in your power cable and close the lid over the cable till the lid latches shut leaving just enough space for the cable to pass through.
