M Power MHLF Mortise Hinge Lock Flute Guide for Crb7 Router Base

Used with an M-Power CRB7 offset router base, this attachment gives accurate, repeatable results when routing mortises and slots on the edges of stock. While it’s particularly helpful for cutting lock and hinge mortises in doors, it’s a real problem-solver for a wide range of edge-routing tasks on work that’s too large for a router table, with applications ranging from joinery to applying decorative fluting. One of the fiberglass-reinforced nylon jaws remains fixed, while the moving jaw travels on steel guide rods, adjusted with a thumbwheel in the aluminum jig body to span up to 7″. Easy-to-read cursors on the upper jaw surfaces can be aligned with reference marks on your stock to set mortise length. Threaded brass inserts in the jaws accept included mounting bolts for secure attachment to the base plate. Made in U.K.
