This schedule 40 PVC slip cap is a plumbing fitting that allows you to cap off or end a section of pipes. This cap has a nominal measurement of 1″ and is for use with 1″ piping. It has a slip connection, meaning that it slips directly onto the desired section of pipes. These fittings are used to protect piping from dust and moisture during transportation. Also, it can be used as end caps for pipes used to transport smaller-sized pipes. Furthermore, it is great for water applications such as irrigation and sprinkler systems.
