Imperial Socket Cap Head Screws are manufactured in sizes between #0 and 1 inch. Lengths of between 3/32 inch and 12 inch are available as standard, and are manufactured in full threaded varieties. Socket cap screws are commonly used in machine parts, die fixturing, and clamping. The socket head enables driving where there is not sufficient space for wrenches or sockets. Made from 18-8 stainless steel, these screws have good chemical resistance and may be mildly magnetic. Length is measured from under the head. Fine threads are closely spaced to prevent loosening from vibration. They are not compatible with coarse threads.
